COLLECTORS' CLUB has received the answers from HASBRO's G.I. JOE brand team for the bi-monthly Q&A series. Check out our list of submission
questions, along with the answers as provided by the company:
GIJCC Question 1:Why are there no figure stands included with the G.I. JOE: RISE Of COBRA vehicle drivers? Hasbro Answers: The design team wanted to put all of their efforts (and plastic cost) into creating great vehicles and decided not to include the figure stands.
They also considered that the figures were less likely to be displayed as they will be inside of the vehicles.
GIJCC Question 2:Do you have plans to release any more of the G.I. JOE movie or classic themed playsets? Hasbro Answers: Yes, the team will reveal some mini-playsets that will be movie themed, but based on the sets from the 80's at the San Diego Comic-Con this month (July 23-26, 2009).
GIJCC Question 3:Finally, will Wave 3 of the classic G.I. JOE: Mighty Muggs and classic Combat Heroes still be released? Hasbro Answers: The Wave 3 figures were produced, shipped, and should be making their way out to retail in the next month. In the future, Mighty Muggs will only be available at select retailers.
