The G.I. JOE
COLLECTORS' CLUB sent five more questions to the HASBRO
team for the bi-monthly Q&A series. In this section, you will find
the list of submission questions, along with the answers as provided by
the company:
GIJCC Question 1:What plans does Hasbro have to release a G.I. Joe video game? Hasbro Answers: There currently
no immediate plans for a G.I. Joe video game. However, when the time is
right we would love to provide our fans with a great, new G.I. Joe video
game experience.
GIJCC Question 2:Can you make a 25th Anniversary Zartan figure that changes color in
sunlight (just like the 1984 version)? Hasbro Answers: There are currently
no plans for a 25th Anniversary sunlight-changing Zartan.
GIJCC Question 3:Will Hasbro have any approval or veto power over Lorenzo di Bonaventura's
G.I. Joe live-action movie script? Hasbro Answers: We are not currently
at liberty to release any plans on the G.I. Joe movie.
GIJCC Question 4:Since Funskool in India is not making G.I. Joe toys any more, can
we get all the molding tools shipped back from them? Hasbro Answers: Currently, our
priority is to establish the new 25th Anniversary sculpt. All figures
in the near-term will be using the 25th Anniversary body.
GIJCC Question 5:With the 25th Anniversary upon us, what are the chances of incorporating
12" characters in to the 3.75" universe? Hasbro Answers: The 25th Anniversary
celebrates 25 years of "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero". The
line commemorates an amazing 3.75" product line, incredible animated
entertainment and one of the best comic book lines ever. The 12"
characters represent a different time in G.I. Joe's history that is great
in it's own right.
